A Laptop Issue : Laptop haven't finished booting up but it shutdown itself suddenly

So, here's the problem.
My little brother's computer has mysteriously shutdown itself everytime it booting up. I try to switch between Normal and Safe Mode booting and both result in same shutdown issue, also, I did try the Fix Booting Problem but it shut down during process.
All I know are that the computer's battery is no longer capable of powering the computer [means, once the charger was taken away from it, then it will shut itself suddenly], but I have it charged so that can't be the problem, and according to him, this has happened since Friday.
I really need to solve this issue because the computer he's using is my mother's computer, and I don't want to get myself into trouble.

Was the laptop harmed in any way? (Splashed with water, burned to ashes, stomped flat in a stampede)
If not then I have no idea what you can do. Maybe there was a file from the system files that was deleted and is causing the system to crash. (Just a guess)
If it was damaged, the best thing you can do is to pull out some $$$ and but a new laptop or at least replace the part that was damaged.

the main case is to get the hard disk out for the least, so I can save the files, that's all. But it's important to recover the laptop as well.
I guess I had no choice except trying google the internet or resort with the $$$. Anyway, thanks Hera and Roland, maybe somebody with better knowledge may know the actual issue.

I don't think it's the battery, as laptops are capable of running without a battery as long as the charger cable is connected.
Sounds more like either your CPU is overheating or Windows is corrupt. Try booting from something else than windows, or maybe just go into BIOS. If the laptop suddenly shuts down the CPU is probably overheating, and might already be fried.
Else try taking out the HDD/SSD and connecting it to another PC, and then see if you can get any of the files from it. After that you'd have to reinstall and put all the files back.

Also, don't you have any warranty on it?

Try these things and see what happens:

Try booting up without battery (assuming you are trying the plugged boot-up with the battery still placed)
Try booting up from a disk or from an OS installed in a flash drive

and you could ask him what he was doing before all of this happened... as in everything that he did...

By booting, did you mean that the screen is still on bios? or do you have the chance to see the (insert OS) loading screen for booting?

If you still get to see the loading screen like that windows pulsing thing for win7.
Check and feel the laptop, if it's over heating, keep it cool somehow (airconditioning, fresh blowing air, electric fan blowing directly to the laptop, no water please)

If you don't get to see the loading screen at all, my guess is, there is something wrong with the hard drive making it not reach the boot sector.

I had one where the loading screen would hang, and the problem was my old hard drive was failing, next was that I went on an infinite loop at boot screen(bios) the cause was my main drive failed and was no longer recognized.

If you have the time and means, try booting up a live cd/dvd/usb of any linux system to see if it really does boot straight, if it does, my guess would be hard drive problem.
Else if the same thing happens, maybe there is something wrong with your motherboard?

Did any of you try cleaning the ram? I mean rubbing the gold teeth of the ram with an eraser? XD (on second thought, don't try that, if you somehow insert the ram incorrectly or is inserted loosely, you lose your motherboard which equates to losing the whole laptop(to some extent). :O

I can reach the loading screen. But it shut as soon as it finished loading [where it switch to where you can pick which user you want to log as]

Will try those, I hope that can help.

I'll check if any of these are the issue.

Thanks for the help guys, I'll check the computer tomorrow or so as I need to finish some school stuff first [middle exam approaches and I need to study].

Hi! Try checking the disk for errors, maybe the filesystem is corrupted. If that doesn't do it try repairing the OS.
Saphiree could be right if even the cd fails to boot.

It is getting hot?

I don't feel it's getting hot on my last try.

EDIT :
Me and my brother try to discard the battery, and then restart it.
It seems to work well, I see what must be done then. It's the battery all along.
+Rep to Everyone [Some may not receive it due to rep limit of mine].

Well, if your Computer gets hot, I suggest you to buy some laptop stand coolers, if the Fan doesn't works, Try buying a Small fan, I always do that to my laptop. (Since I'm at my Old father's computer-shop.)

If the files got the errors, a message should apear like "XXX file is missing or corrupt" (Ignore XXX if it sounds bad)
I think your hardware is most likely the problem here. (I mean the laptop's hardware okay?)
And if the problem occurs even if the battery's not connected, then common sensely saying, the battery's not the problem.
And a lil' tip, stay away from those porn sites.

@Ralle: Dropbox is Kinda useful to some people, but For me, I would recommend to back-up my files in the USB Or the External Hard drive. My friends in skype, Such as Shena and the Other folks of TeaMp0isoN and Net-Bashers use the Dropbox as Virus packager, So I don't like using using the DropBox.. That's all

On-Topic: You should backup your files or save it before it instantly shuts down.

My dad also experienced this when he removes his battery or charger thhe laptop shuts down. If you are using ACER, most likely you will experience this because it one of ACER sickness about batteries. Once the charger have been overheated many times, there are chances, Laptop's battery will overheat and will not function properly anymore resulting in fast battery loss.

But if you are not using ACER, still problem is this. There high chances when battery are overheated, this happens.
