Has anyone ever noticed in World Editor at the bottom right corner in between the scrolls is a tiny green button called a Gem. Anyone have ne idea wat it does?
that's not all it does. sometimes when you select a unit (usually when you drag over it) it will play one of his sounds that it plays ingame when you click on said unit. also it doesn't just play the death animation with the gem on, it doesn't remove the unit until the death animation is done. using undo and redo you can create some very interesting glitches with several of the same unit occupying the exact same space. anyone know anything else that it does?
I did sum research in wikipedia and it said the Gem all started in Diablo. I dont remember what the gem did there, but it gave a slight twist to the game.
the gem just activates the sounds when you select a unit in the editor or when it dies(also plays anims)
but i dont suggest you use it cause like stated before, has alot of bugs when you redo.(units not disappearing but they arnt there thing)
to my experience the bugs only occur when you're going way fast. so if you're patient and methodic the gem should make creating/editing maps a little more fun.
