I'm fairly certain this concept has been used and used again but I really wanted to add my demon race to a map. What I've done so far is add them to The Crucible, My favorite FFA map of all time, and have them accessible with a dialog button box at the start of the playable game.

Problems I can not find a solution to:
-When the demon town hall replaces the original hall they are revealed the entire game.
-Is there any reason someone would join the game(Looking for special features or new game directions as to not put my work to waste).

So if you can think of anything please leave a reply,

Thanks.

I can come up with more race ideas that are at least fairly original. You could add them to the map if you wanted.

To fix problem 1 you need to make sure the Demon Hall is set as a Town Hall under Gameplay Constraints IIRC.

Titan Army - New Race
Most units are fairly weak in combat, but rely on their many and varied abilities to win battles. Both Golem units and the Titan are good in combat. The heroes are also quite specialised.

Buildings

Immobile Titan (HQ building, can heal nearby units, creates Golden Constructs and Heavenly Summoners)

Rejuvenating Titan (Immobile Titan upgrade, can heal nearby units and has a weak Aura of Blessing, a renamed Devotion Aura, creates Golden Constructs and Heavenly Summoners)

War Titan (Rejuvenating Titan upgrade, can heal nearby units, has a strong Aura of Blessing, and can get up and move around ala NE buildings, but is actually decent in combat, creates Golden Constructs and Heavenly Summoners, can research Touch of the Titans which improves all worker units by giving them an ability).

Titan's Force-Caller (Trains Holy Swordsmen, Disciples of Light, and Silver Wolves. Has the Blessed Healing for Swordsmen, Healing Totem for Disciples and Speed of Light for Wolves upgrades)

Soul Warden (creates Forest Souls (basically non-building Wisps), has a weak attack when upgraded, provides food)

Spirit Altar (trains Heroes)

Forest Idol (trains Forest Spirits to collect wood, has Forest's Presence, a renamed Unholy Aura)

Holy Shrine (magical upgrades, Blessed Blades, Armour Sigils, Titan's Strength, and Golem Augmentations)

Titan Forge (builds Battle Golems and Gatherer Golems, has the Starmetal and Swift-Golem upgrades)

Lunar Observatory (trains Moonwalkers and Lunar Archers, has the Moonwalker Titan-caster upgrades and the Archer Moonsniper upgrade)

Sky Roost (trains War Eagles and Crystalflame Birds, has the Shimmering Feathers and Heaven's Fire upgrades)

Stone Guardian (Statue, fires holy rays, can upgrade into one of the 3 Guardian types below)

Marble Guardian (As above, but has a splash attack)

Crystal Guardian (As above, but attacks are magical)

Ruby Guardian (As above, weaker attack that have a slow effect)

Forest Store (Sells items)

Units

Holy Swordsman (Elven Swordsman model, can be upgraded with weak, self-only Blessed Healing, which is a weak version of Vamparic Aura)

Disciple of Light (Support ranged attacker, has Healing Totem after an upgrade, a weak version of Healing Ward)

Silver Wolf (fast attacker, Wolf model, has Blessed Claw, which is a renamed Critical Strike, can be upgraded to attack faster with Speed of Light).

Forest Soul (Wisp that can't build, gathers wood, gains a weak, small-range renamed version of Forest's Presence after Touch of the Titans upgrade)

Heavenly Summoner (Sorceress model, summons buildings, gains a weak version of Holy Light after Touch of the Titans upgrade)

Golden Construct (Tinted Mud Golem model, gathers gold, gains a weak version of Hardened Skin after Touch of the Titans upgrade)

Moonwalker (Druid of the Talon model, spellcaster, has True Sight, can gain Shadowmeld and Moonstrike, a renamed version of Bash, after Titancaster upgrades)

Moon Archer (Archer model but bigger and tinted, after Moonsniper upgrade gains Lunar Arrows which deal extra damage to Heroes)

War Eagles (melee air unit, Eagle model, can gain Shimmering Feathers, a renamed Evasion, after upgrade)

Crystalflame Birds (Phoenix model, flying siege unit, fires holy light, has a splash attack, can gain the Heaven's Fire ability to deal extra damage to buildings)

Battle Golem (War Golem model, high but slow attack, has Great Strength, a renamed Cleaving Attack i.e grants splash damage, and can gain Reforge (self-only Heal) after the Starmetal upgrade, can move and attack slightly faster after the Swift-Golem upgrade)

Gatherer Golem (Stone Golem model, can gather gold, moves quickly, has a weaker version of Transmute renamed Goldgrant, gains Reforge after Starmetal upgrade)

War Titan (Epic unit, super-high but slow attack, slowish movespeed, created when a War Titan HQ building reanimates, has Reforge, splash damage, a renamed War Stomp called Titan's Fury, and a renamed Battle Shout called Titan's Inspiration)

Heroes

Mage-Titan (Some kind of Golem model, has various holy-based spells that damage mainly, gains Reforge as an ability when Starmetal is researched, no need to learn it as a Hero skill, low normal attack, low move speed, decent armour)

Moonstalker (Druid of the Claw model, insane attack speed but low damage, has Moonsniper but as a hero ability, Wind Walk renamed Moon Stalk, other attack abilities, low HP and armour)

Blessed Spirit (Wisp model but large, has support abilites, has Phase Shift as a non-hero skill, maybe a Shadowmeld Aura named Moon's Cloak for a hero skill, Lv 6 ability called True Form, becomes a Forest Titan with a new set of nature-based non-hero abilites for a short while, low HP and armour and attack until it becomes a Forest Titan)

Favoured Summoner (Jaina model, all abilites are summons, can summon ghosts with some sort of healing aura, attacking wolves, animated armour w/high defence, and for Lv 6 summons a Titan Illusion that reduces nearby hostile unit's armour and can throw coils of darkness.)

New Races

I'll get to work on making the new races.

Can any1 give me some more direction with the reveal problem

Edit- My main project (Hero Maze) was just rejected after being posted for 3 years and receiving 3 years of updates and that just makes me lose all of my hope for this website I'm gonna go ahead and call this the end.

Sorry to hear that :(

That doesn't mean this map will be rejected though. They won't be able to say it's unoriginal or boring with unique custom races, and if it's an altered melee it won't need a quest log really, only with a little basic info on the races maybe and credits/updates.

Ok, a solution to your little problem:
1) Open the Object Editor and click on the Demon Town Hall. Scroll all the way down to Stats- Unit Classification and add the Town Hall classification to it.
[The below steps are only applicable if the above doesn't work :0]
2) Go to Gameplay Constants (Advanced->Gameplay Constants)
3) Check the "Use Custom Gameplay Constants" box.
4) Scroll down to the part with "Techtree-"
5) Look for the value about "Dependancy Equivalents" followed by the name of some of the Town Halls. Add your Town Hall to the respective place. (I think there are about 6 values to change :S)
6) Hit OK

If it still doesn't work, I don't know what to say...

PS: Don't give up just because your map was rejected. The moderator doesn't like it is all, that doesn't mean others don't. If you put more work into it, I'm sure people will like it :)
If you want, send me a link to your map and I'll test it and give comments :D
