5 Hours And Still Unresolved

So I'm getting a little ticked off. For about five hours now I've been trying to apply a cast time to my custom ability. Simply.. How can I do this?

I want there to be about a 4 second wait and then the effect that the ability uses should take action.

You should take a look at these ability fields (note: not every kind of ability has them :x ):

• Stats - Cast Finish Time
• Stats - Cast Start Time
• Stats - Finish Time
• Stats - Prepare Time

My bet would be Prepare Time, after reading the tooltips. :x

Cast Start Time should be 4. Cast finish time should be whenever you want the spell to stop. And Finish time is when the whole spell will stop. Including effects.

Yup. I've tried all of those. None of them do anything.

I think the ability has to be channeling for any sort of delay to link to the ability.

Look how the ghost's nuke does it. That is a cast delayed ability.

The thing that makes the ghost do it appears to be the Initial Delay field. I tried that for my ability and, once again, it does not work. The result was that my unit lost energy, that's all.

Oh not much.

Apparently the flags setting has more of an impact on things than I thought. I don't remember what I changed them from or to though. :S
