This an early version with no much of content available, but before i expand terrains and make all content usable we will have to make some tests. Heroes, monsters, quests and arena should be tested out before any further work. I could not test map, since i am alone at my computer so i am counting on help from hive.

2013 - April - 3

- Added ores and herbs to snowy mountain.
- Forced Fallen priests to cast hex (snowy mountain).
- I have imported just http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...4/?prev=search=altar%20of%20blood&d=list&r=20 and expanded terrain, size jumped for 0.5Mb :/

- Luckily now i can say that terrain is 80% done, in these 80% dungeons and pvp areas are not included those things are on 10%. One town is missing in north on both sides, there will be some guilds to join those are going to provide discounts on various items and also give you some passive bonuses but that will make you hated with other guilds in town. I think two guilds will be fine, maybe three... But eh, i am afraid to exceed limit size, since i am not familiar to multi player i dont know what limit is at all, something like 6Mb? Im close to that. Doodads are eating so much space, never felt it til now. So if size stuck, i am going to recreate terrain, that will be painful..

2013 - April - 5

- Filled new terrain with troll mobs (Malaku troll, Malaku warlord, Malaku frostwitch, Malaku witchdoctor, Malaku high priest).
- Added new quest
- Added two new items to drop from 10 -20 mob level range
- Crediting peekay and deloring for their work (Many Peekay's icons are used)
- Added new quest Curse of Depths II, comes after Curse of Depths acquired from banished shaman.
- Slight changes in terrain.
- Fixed damage of knight's charge ability.

2013 - April - 6

- Expanded terrain, added two new friendly cities (one for both sides)
- Added spiders mobs behind troll city(spider, venom spitter, giant spider, broodmother).
- Added three new items to drop from spiders.
- Added new herb and new ore (sell price 20gold)
- Added new spells to dreadlord and frostwitch mobs
- Small changes to existing terrain
- Slight spell fixes
- Added chain lightning to gnoll overseers
- Added two more summoning stones
- Added more items
- Added two guilds to join in next city, guild membership provides (5 strength and 5 agility or intellect bonuses + extra experience and gold when you kill monster)
- Added new mastery and critical strike elixirs

- Weaken scorpions :
warrior's hp reduced by 75
earthborer's hp reduced by 50, basic attack damage by 10, shadow strike initial damage by 30
Overlord's health reduced by 150
- Repositioned scorpions in front of cloverhold, so you will be able to farm 4 level 1 mobs to get items for further progress.
- Added new quest that comes as chain after completion of fading strength.
- Added jars with chance of nice drop

2013 - April - 7

- Slight changes to knight's abilities
- New quest
- Opened northern area
- Knight's abilities will no longer ignore pathing blockers.
- Terrain - following regions have been changed:
- Cloverhold starting area
- Cloverhold gnoll area
- Cloverhold crossing (onward to trolls)
- Malaku fortress (Cloverhold side)
- Spiders zone widen, now you can find spiders earlier
- Used Frankster's model for priestess that reduced size by 100 lovely kbs

2013 - April - 8

- Started working on earthsong terrain changes
- Reduced map file size
- Small fixes of abilities applied


2013 - April - 13

- Removed lag spike at hero selection part
- Changed style of performing many abilities
- Added new class druid (hopefully forms will not be bugged)
- Added new status Focus
- Several spells have been changed in order to benefit bonuses from Focus status in stead of spell power (All spells that benefit from custom status are marked, and i wrote exact status from which spell will benefit in power)
- Added new quest (The Arachnophobia)
- Added several new items to low level zone, and crafting items to professions.
- Added portrait to druid's bear form

thank you all, file size is 3.788 mb because of some lousy imports, like i had to spend 500kb just on preview and loading screens. Icons used are 1.5Mb :/ Though i am not planing any extra imports, maybe some cool doodads of few kbs nothing over that. On the end 4.65Mb should be size.

hey man! nice idea of making a multiplayer map! i would be glad if we could test it together!! sad that ur making a break with zuka, i hope u continue some days =)

I have brought this map to testing conditions, world is large enough to actually do something, but yet too small to call this end version. Actual content is at something like 25-30%, i will be constantly updating this post until it reaches alpha state. For testing map, please contact me or try it with your friends. Feedback:
Since it is hard enough to find players for unkown maps you should make this map easier. I played the map with a friend and we could barely kill monsters. After playing about 1 hour we were level 3!

Terrain is really nice.

I like the idea but there is still alot of work to do ofc.

That second spell of the paladin is way too strong imo.

Too few items.

After 25 min. I finally killed that huge scorpion but he didn't drop the quest item?
 
No quest items drop, hmm, yea nothing drops. But you must be in 1000 yards from mob to get quest completed. Drop chance is very low, it is 30% to get armor scrap and if that happens there is 15% to drop some item. Yea human side is ugly organized, i will have to replace monsters. Besides humans have slightly stronger abilities + stuns, because earthsong heroes have healing and absorb spells. Still as you can see there are no ultimate abilities, i will think of them later, when balance will be needed.

When you get 2 armor scraps, train herbalism or mining, then farm ores and herbs so you can buy two weak equipable items at shop and potions. If you cant get lucky to get items from mobs. Quests give lot of experience those in start are weak but later it is 1000 or 2000 reward. And are easier, use of bomb, click on obelisks. Try it on orcish side, if you are not deeply bored.

Ops, forgot to mention, if your friend took quest that does not mean that you have quest either. You have personally to click on quest at elder to acquire it, and once you think you might completed quest, click on quest icon in quest menu in your box and it will tell you what to do and ping minimap at location where you need to go.

I see..well i killed the boss with my dot but died earlier. Kinda ugly :S
 
:( sadly it will have to stay that way, because i need it to be 1000 yards, quest completion, on other side if you were actual killing player quest would reward you, but then someone who wasnt real killer but had died also about in same time would not be rewarded so. This is way it is, cruel sorry :/ It comes to be easier with later mobs, i believe. Farm weak monsters and herbs/ores then kill boss in cave. Also if you beat your friend in arena you get 300g reward.


I could make game easier, but then it would be 1 hour long joke to finish whole map. Thats not what i wanted, sry. I will just reposition scorpions in front of cloverhold city.

Edit 1 (you will see alot more of my edits): Well 1 minute playing I chose Shaman and gosh the game froze for like 15 secs and I have a decent comp. Sadly I am playing singleplayer.

Edit 2: Monsters are kinda overpowering, okay I am playing singleplayer but still! :3 and you should add a healing region, or fountain.
 
just add some easier mobs. And place them so other mobs wont attack you when you fight against one creep.

I have made changes, health and damage of mobs is reduced. Also i was quick and added one more quest, that you will get from druid in snowy mountain. Basically i am already forming story, trolls, undead, elementals... left right

If you tried Zuka's journey, when you create hero first time, half of intro cinematic passes during that lag. I will try to fix that by separating actions, though that might cause some bugs. For now lets keep lagging at start.

Download new version, i have just uploaded it, it should be way easier. But i meant this to be hard even for 3 guys (now sadly i am reducing it's difficulty...) Later i am going to make it much harder, to prevent you from quick beating my map.

Yeah, I am a begginer at triggering so I dont know all of that, but I get what you are saying, had one of that :goblin_jawdrop: moments, a scorpion followed me into the camp, got killed, to be fair my health was only like 80 :(

Edit due to the edit of the map: Well okay I didnt have much time but I dont see anything wrong with skill 2 of the shaman I will test futher on the morrow. :D

Okey, i officially tested map on garena and i can tell you its pretty fun to me beacause i win every capture flag and arena. But quests were as like you said impossible because it was one vs one. But I believe in 2v2 or 3v3 it would be much easier, because leveling in pvp just goes fast. Battles are dynamic, winner is unknown until pure end... But it requires all classes to be present. Caster classes suck alone, but deal great damage while behind tanks. Thats why we have Monk and Warrior to charge on casters.

At this moment i am in Europe RPG room 04 on garena, if you see this and you are playing wc3 using garena please come.

10 Days passed since i started map :p

Once again it is key moment for reviewing, i have done lot of changes and improvements. Of course we are far from ending of map, but we could make check point here. I hope i will see some posts of high quality, in form similar to:
