Quenching Mod

QM is a versatility mod with lots of gaming functions, it's specially build for warcraft III reforged version, which basically replace the textures, model and shaders of warcraft to create a realistic-style graphic. - Graphic rendering enhancement (reforged only) - Graphic assets replacement (reforged only) - Units/Heroes skin change (reforged and limited classic)

Quenching Mod

1. You need a clean warcraft III reforged, get the path, like D:\Quenching\War3Reforged\Warcraft III

there must be a "retail" folder in the warcraft III root path

2. Download QMClient3.0.zip (aka QMC3.0.zip), that is the client, unzip at anywhere (no need in root folder) it should look like this, start the QMclient.exe

3. Setup the warcraft III path in the client, and go to [Install Full Package]

4. choose QMF3.0.zip (full package you download from github)

5. wait until it's done, and everything should be good

6. for visionmod, first, unzip visionmod pack, and find the path that have the "retail" folder

7. go to [setting] - [graphics] - [visionmod path] - [change path] - [use the path that contain "retail" (not war3 root)]

8. before start the game, don't forget to turn on everything on [setting]. If you don't like fog, turn off ENV-Rendering

9. If you install QM before, using [setting] - [basic] - [delete mod]

10. if you download QMClient3.0 in the first release day, re-download it, I have update a fixed version.

Bless You @Zorrot ^^ you are amazing
it worked for me and i am checking it now :)

Thank You @Strydusk for your valued effort ^^

Just want to ask about

1- if i want to keep the original icons can i do step #15 which provided by @Strydusk even after enabling it?

2- About the below print screen, is there a solution for the bright area around the character portrait?

Just checked the Hive Workshop Discord. Apparently, BNET services for WC3 (both NA and EU) is down last night, but now it's fixed.
Someone also encountered this issue when playing WC1 and WC2 Remastered.
It's not quite related to the Quenching mod issue.

The bright area is Portrait Bloom and can be fixed in Options > Video > Portrait Bloom > Off:

I downloaded the Client, Extracted it to WC3 root folder and then run the QMClient.exe in administrator mode. After that nothing happens, but the QMClient.exe is running on task manager. Any solutions? No UI appears
