So when you say 2D, you mean like mario bros, right?

Yes, in fact I do want to create a Mario game, and later a Mortal Combat game!
But for now I simply want to get straight all of my triggers and I think that Soldiers exemplifies exactly what I want to do the best.
Here are some screen shots that show the explanation of what the keys do (from the loading screen) and jumping and moving. Notice how the Soldier stands, due to 'gravity' on the cliff face. Was this done with regions? Does anyone know how to do this?
@ Woxx lol even better idea, that sure would, but now that I've gone this far in it, I'm enjoying making everything from scratch
Also, thanks for all the advice, I just wanted to say that this thread is being discontinued from my end, as I'll be putting all my updates in an edited thread in Map Development called Playdoughrevisited's 2D Battle.
