Hi, I heard there's a way, but have looked all over and can't find a guide on how to do this. Basically I'm importing a custom hobbit skin which will overwrite villager kid. However I still want the vanilla villager kid, I need BOTH. How can this be done?

Thanks!!

use a model editor, I recommend Magos... use the built in mpq browser to find the villager kid model and then open it, open texture editor and change the texture to the custom skin and then save the model somewhere. Import the new model and the skin into your map. Dont forget to set the skin's path to the same path that you see in your new unit's texture editor in Magos...

and poof! you now have the new skinned model and you still retain the original though this method would lead to a higher map file size because you import the model too...
