Is it possible to stop a character dropping an item it already has equipped, back on its self as it drops on the floor?

Is there a way to make an item non transferable among heroes?

Well, you can set the option Can be dropped to False in the Object Editor. As for the other method you could trigger it(but I don't have time to write the trigger now, sorry).

You can use that in a trigger to modify items behaviour
