Cat and Crab Darkgem Molten Front

As a wow player I loved my hunter and the pets I tamed. When Motlen Front opened and I found out
about the duo of darkgam not only spawns in the same area but shared spown point I took the challenge.

Cat name is Skarr and the Crab is named Karkin

Character model belongs to World of Warcraft - Blizzard ®

Updated Skarr. As pointed out he missed his glowing eyes. Until I get the particles right I'll did this temporary version

Hello! I've downloaded the Models, did some testing, and I can offer my review: The Models work and perform well ingame, nothing to add. Going to set this to Approved (Recommended).
Skar's using the wrong variant of the cat

He should use TigerGem which has that hunch to the animations
Ty for info, this is the skins that all the program said was correct when porting.

And same thing for the cat model. this is the model that wow.export, wmv, wmvx casc E/V port is as. But I hear your opinion

Just checked, that texture are you aiming for with "tigergem"? And also, what "hunch to the animations?
Skarr ? the more glowing eyes?

the model tigergem? It's the same. But I will see if I port it again for a diff. Thank's for feedback

Have to say thank you @Mecheon, Guess I did take the wrong one (had both older and newer ported). Now the eyes glow as it should.

Any advice on how to get the eyes right tho? the glowing particles is seen as square's

Tried a lot of texture and ways to get particles right. Need some hep with it.
Until then I'll did "my own" version with at least more glowing eyes.

So I went over to Molten Front to snag Skar. Here's how he looks in-game

I think you're good on the eyes, its just that alternative animation set. The alternate one is also used on the other gem tigers, the Jade tigers in MoP and the two pet variants of it

Sorry but are you trolling now?
I know his look, I have him myself. I sent you a direct link in my message to a 3d version from wowhead.

So why go tame one yourself and record the exact same thing.
It literally did 0 good.

You are taking about another model/look. Same as the other one, just another texture.

You using the word animation as if it's not able to be two things here.
The model has the same animation as the old model does.
The texture animation might be different and with that I'm talking about the oiled body that looks like it reflects light.

It's another thing, still animation but just saying "animation" is a bit to vague.

And last, if you even read any of the thing I sent to you, I found the model you talked about. I set it up but it can't really "catch" that reflecting feeling good.
Eyes particles won't stop be squares.
I asked you for help with that.
So again waiting like 3 weeks to write a reply and then send a ingame record of something I sent you a ingame link to (3 weeks ago) and nothing else seems extremely pointless.

So. Are you trolling? If not, help me. If you can't, then don't talk more.
Thanks

Mate, I'm not trolling. I'm trying to help you get this as close as it is in the actual game rather than being wrong. I don't know what you're going off about as you didn't send me any messages. And sorry, I'm not here all the time. Sometimes, yeah, it takes me three weeks to get back. S'why I'm ex staff and not current staff.

I'm talking about the animations, the way it moves. I'm not talking about the shininess of the model. As per the video, and WoWhead, and the actual WoW files: Skarr does not use the same animations as the standard cat, it uses a modified version of them, and if you're trying to get it as close as possible you should be using those animations. Its not even the only cat that uses these animations, the entire 'Mystic Cat' grouping in Petopia is that animation set

I did a test of it and can confirm, exporting tigergem.m2 as a gltf gets you all of those animations into Blender with the correct look, so if you only grabbed tiger.m2 it'll be wrong

If you want the particles to look right, probably want to borrow from some similar cloud ones (dragon portrait is always a good snag) as they share a similar cloudy appearance

Yea let's pretend I didn't reply at your comment 3 weeks ago with a link of skarr in 3d view..

I have both the tiger files, as I also said long ago in my reply to you (this is why I'm asking you if you are trolling, you are clearly not reading at all, not to mention that I wrote to you like 14 h ago to not loop fact that already been said and still here we are after another loop).
The animation is not that diff. Minor thing like neck is more tilted down then normal which it's not fitting for a wc3 char since you will see it from a above angle.

Eyes won't be seen much then. The model has a slower stiffer movement. But not much.
Not sure how you see it as "not the same". It's the same but slower movement.

Ever used WMVx? You can overlap models, you can see that that both normal and tigergem share keyframes, in most they are identical.

Not that I needed it to see how almost identical their anims are 🙄.

The advice for more glowing eyes was good.
But that was said and corrected like 3 weeks ago.
This feels like a kind of "dead" topic seriously.

Take care
