Nice, a great replacement for the shimmering portal model ngl. Gotta ask, do you plan to add more variants of this model, like pink version and existing versions with skull in the center?

Sure, but i meant the one you see in later expansions, normal, heroic and mythic portals. To my memory, the blue portal is from vanilla dungeons and green for raids.
True, but the only nitpick for me is that your portals are attached to the stone arch instead of being standalone like this model, limiting the potential purposes they could had, despite having many more color variants.

You should consider making this model float above the ground instead of centered on the ground; having it float above the ground makes it a possible alternative for the Portal model. Currently it can only be a destructible/doodad/attachment/unit because their height relative to the ground can be changed. If a building uses this model then the bottom half will clip under the ground.
