Gain Resources from planetary control, you get 20 gold per planet you own every 25 seconds. You also salvage resources upon destroying enemy ships. Destroy all enemy bases to achieve Dominance over the Universe.
Your base is actually a hero with a max level of 5, that gains one new ability per level. The Flagship unit is the most powerful unit in your arsenal with which you can teleport to defend planets, warp in reinforcements, and passively scan for cloaked units. Idle Flagships are selectable in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
Bases have 2 hero inventory slots. In the left slot, at the start of the game, is contained your 3 starting Starport buildings which you can place at any friendly planet. All Starport produced units have individual upgrades in addition to the weapon and armor upgrade available at the Engineering Tower.

This had to be done to remove the a bug (wether or not you had enough gold to upgrade all selected ships they would upgrade regardless) which was another blizzard custom map bug I've run into .

I have to apologize for that. Now I know neutral players can't hold a force by themselves on b.net. I had only tested it with forces offline. Version 1.3a has a computer in force 2 so it can now correctly be hosted on b.net.
Regarding the first post I have a nice screen shot I'd like to place, but I was not able to post it or upload the latest version of the map before I had to leave for work. I'll post it when I get home around 11:30 PM Est. Version 1.3a is a quick fix version that I made at work, and 1.4 is the more current version I will release from home.
i think you should decrease the food cost of all the ships to 1 because currently you cant have that many units and for all the planets that you have to defend you need to have the flagships jump around all the time to get your forces to defend and if your attacking you leave everything defenceless so it would help if there were planetary defences you could build on the planets you capture not just your home-world.. i dont know if your planning this already im just giving you a suggestion.
also jumps seem to be bugged sometimes their ability doesnt work and they are stuck.
I think planetary defenses are a good idea. Also I was thinking of raising the food cap to 150/200ish. As far as Jumps go I haven't put them to full test yet so I'll try to iron out their kinks.
A new unit I added in the 1.7 build has a nice space bending ability that only has 20 seconds down time. If you can get 1 for defense and 1 for offense it makes getting around quite easy, although atm they cost 8 food :0. I'll definitely do more about the food costs.
Thanks, I'll add is in my next update... which will be coming very soon. I figured out how to completely fix the jump ability. Apparently I needed a stop command built in after the jump. Also I'm changing the frigate's ability b/c its bend space isn't very reliable.

it is a quite good map, your idea is great, love your planet system (except that they are a little small) and good models. but for some reason i didn't enjoy it.
