by pheonix symbol, I assume you mean the typical Blood Elf symbol?Wow, simply wow.
As a suggestion, is there a chance for alternate version for both textures, with a Phoenix symbol instead of Kirin-Tor eye?
Yes, exactly!
it shouldn't be too difficult, I'll attach it as part of the resource as an alternate texture when Im doneYes, exactly!
An alternate Pheonix version has been added to both Blood Elf and High Elf Sorceress textures.Yes, exactly!
Oh! I didn't realised that linking asset includes it into the download. My bad! Please do not add unrelated assets to resource threads. While one might want to download the blood elf version it doesn't mean the user has to be forced to also download the high elf version with it.
Do you mean a version with white sclera? So nice! Can you make version with no eyeglow?
Yesh pleaseDo you mean a version with white sclera?
Because if you're asking for that, unfortunately the way I drew the eyes made the iris look like they're in perpetual shock, it's not obvious with eye glow as it functions more like pupils instead.
A version with white sclera but no iris could work however, let me know if you're interested in that.
Here's a version with no eye glowYesh please
I wasnt expecting such an in depth review of my skin so I'm honestly flattered lolAt first glance this texture is deceptive as it looks just like a simple edit of the Sorceress. However it actually belies a texture with a lot of freehand and changes once you take the time to stop and inspect it. The changes to the crown, the cloth, the eyes all combine to elevate the original sorceress. The author spoke about wanting to create an elevated texture but which does not lose the original look and feel of the unit and they have achieved this. I would go so far as to say that this texture could replace the original in the game. The style is perfectly fitting with the Warcraft 3 style as well as having appropriate shading and details. The variation in symbols is also a nice touch.
Personally I'll need to fight hard to decide whether to use this texture for Sorceress's or 67chrome's going forward, I'm torn!
Approved as Recommended.
I dont use Retera, but if I were you I'd extract the sorceress model, and then remap the textures of the model to match that of the custom texture you want to use, then import the custom model into your map using the Import Manager. I dont think you'd need to import the model's textures, but there are exceptions sometimes. This texture is amazing, but I'm having trouble applying it in the World Editor.
When I gave up on the World Editor and tried using Retera to create a model that uses the texture (adding models is easier for me than using textures), I ran into even more trouble.
Can someone please help me?
Remove "war3imported/" just leave "Sorceress.Blp"This texture is amazing, but I'm having trouble applying it in the World Editor.
