This is a nice idea but there's some things that is worth considering. First of all, try to make it blend well with the icon inside as it kinda makes the inside messy. Secondly try to brighten up the border and make it more solid and thinner. Lastly, try to make the colors more vibrant as I cannot see 7 colors.
