Ive also run into some trouble with something and couldnt really understood it and nobody could help me, or want to. So Ill help you:

Look Ill upload to the pastebin two maps. One has the reduced model, the other has the normal model for comparison. The models MDX are actually the same size, you can only notice the size difference when you import the model and save the map. Ive also reduced the texture size for you.
Medic.w3m is the original untouched model with texture. (174Kb)
Medic_Squished_TextureReduced.w3m is the map with the squished model and reduced texture. (114Kb)

Look at the filesizes. I couldnt reduce it to less, tough Ive heard that you can still reduce it by "linearizing" the animations. THAT is something Ive no idea how to do. So if you still want less size ask in the forum

Heres the link to the pastebin, where you can get both maps:

I will tell you how to do it. Download Wc3viewer here:
-open the texture of my model
-convert it to TGA image format
-convert it back from TGA to BLP but with more compression.

    done

Ive also heard of a tool that lets you reduce even more, by modifying the animation's data. You can ask that here or at wc3camapaigns(there show a bit more respect than necesary and have more patience)

Oh and plz the steps are easy, dont come saying that you cant. k? dont be lassy.
