  • I was testing that new healing wave concept we created and it doesn't work as intended, the spell cannot be cast while the unit is attacking. We gotta come up with something else.

    As far as the abilities. what about sorcery from the beta, that and arcane aptitude (or is it potency??) :) they are great abilities, tweaking them could make them even greater =)

    Hey i hope u know that the frost passives interfere with the coloring of the spectral knights, they are not transparent anymore when they are under the effect of the slow buff. u need to figure a way around this or remove the frost passives

    (Post) Reminds me of that "wrath of Taor" ultimate from the forgotten war campaign, only it did not have an anti-magic field, just a really strong attack
    That last map you send me crashes when the optional quest to destroy the outpost is completed

    I think there are two or more triggers that mess eachother up in this case, I dont know what else it could be, also I would suggest you remove the naga units, they just make things more annoying

    I checked it and the only flaw is that it starts working the second a worker starts building the structure, not when the structure is done, otherwise it looks good

    Hey Blake, regarding the heavy bomber counter, I got it; a special tower which produces a small tornado above it that damage all enemy flying units within a certain radius as well as slowing down their movement speed.

    one thing about the balancing, we will have to re-balance lots of stuff once we actually implement it into the gameplay, I dont think these "field tests" actuallly mean much because we dont know how the ai reacts in a real game
    I don't think the airship with your specifications will work out, instead we could make this: an airship that's able to target up to 9 air units at once, that can carry those fighter units, and that can bombard the hell out of anything below it(that is essentially its ground attack)

    How would you make this work? Adding barrage would interfere with the ground attack, basically all attacks would have whatever missile you would give the barrage ability.

    What I have in mind is this; add barrage, and add a modified phoenix fire ability which only targets ground units (the unit wont have a "normal" ground attack, unless you want to make a facade one just for show). So the airship can strike a bunch of aerial units with the barrage, can unload up to 8 fighter units, and demolish whatever ground units are below it using the modified phoenix fire (a good missile for this would be the flying machines' ground missile). This will make the airship really op, but then again this is a boss unit so it should be that way.

    Airships are used in many settings, even though they are most characteristic for steampunk, they are common in medieval fantasy too. While steampunk ones try to replicate the technology of baloons and dirigibles from late 1800s, their medieval counterparts are usually reliant on pure magic and magic substances as there is no way they would fly otherwise. So I wonder your airships use more magic or some naturally derived power.

    Probably more magic than anything else, in my campaign mechanical technology is not supposed to be too developed
