Story Time
A number of my textures had fragments which were extracted from War of the Ring and then had their resolution doubled or sometimes even tripled, rearranged to fit the hand-made models and adapted to allow for moving mouths and in short - refined over the course of weeks to fit with Warcraft 3 and pass the Footman Test
Under the previous rules, such acts of preservation/adaptation were not acceptable, as they began as rips (Rips are bad)
For this, I was accused of theft and bigotry, and in wrath I took down every single model that had a fragment of something I didn't draw from scratch - judging them ungrateful for 6 years of work.

This fueled the fire and spiraled out into a storm of accusations and paranoia - it only began to die down when Ralle himself contacted me to show me something that I needed to see before I took everything with me to Warcraft Underground.
Because you all were so upset to see me go, and because I meant to make good my promise to take everything with me, the Staff of the Hive have come together to make changes to the Workshop that will allow me to continue my pursuit in preserving these games from my childhood.
*The proposed changes will allow for recreations/adaptations of models and textures from other games on the Hive, provided acknowledgement/attribution is given to the original game makers*
Feeling stunned and with a huge amount of relief and joy, I'm thrilled to announce that I'm not going anywhere, and that I'll be happy to make you new models for years to come!

I really like the news. And I didnt know the ripping rule still was up after the model(texture in this case) had such a heavy change that they could be seems as a revival of the thing. Still I do want to see these projects up someday.
