First, you should use reference pictures and draw on them each day that counts as "tracing" here to learn how brushes work and how is the work with PS. After this mission, you should read tutorials in here but only one tutorial and practice after tutorial. I myself red only one tutorial still and that was NFWar's tutorial. You should practice a lot with brushes, pencils, and all of things at PS. After this mission, you'll see you've learned how to use brush and draw a basic drawing. Then, you should learn shadow, light, shading, highlights, dynamics, etc that belongs to the next mission after the basic level. After that, you should upload icons to get detailed reviews to learn from them many things.

I myself learned many things by reviews of Sin'dorei300, Peekay and Murlocologist. Then try to update your icons and drawings and work on them to improve more and more. After this mission, you should try to learn to draw yourself without anything, you should start with empty canvas. Then pick very small brush and draw your base lines of your drawing, then fill it with colors, then use shading, dynamics, shadows and every thing you've learned and apply them on your icon. At last fix the perspective and last fixes. You're done! :)

I think I've spoken too much.

"I think I've spoken too much." - Nah, I love good conversations :)
Yes of course you are right and Tutorials are very helpful in picking up brushes, etc. But first and foremost, talent is needed :)

No, tutorials have very few role in drawing. You should learn yourself. This what all moderators say.

"But first and foremost, talent is needed :)" - Don't you have it? I think you have. :)

No more than others :)
I used to go to art school, I even had my own Exhibition. But then, for some reason, I began to compare my works with the works of other students, and I was somewhat depressed :(

What a same story! I've surprised!

I myself had this experience but I continued my work in school and I didn't pay attention to those subjects anymore and did my own works.
