Ehhh... OK :D
You think I'm silently working on a some race for Ultimate Battle project?
Unregret

Not really. We are still thinking about different terrain template, not only focus on one single Blizzard map. Thus you ARE the perfect choice to make this happen,... well in complete different level. (like pouring mayonelisa into a meat bread).

Ok, I get it. I have two options how to help you:
1 - change the name so that you stop thinking about it.
2 - help you with stylistics, decor, etc. of the map. Alas, I'm not able to create a templates, but to increase the graphic data of the finished map - always please.

option 2. But only when you say yes.
option 1, I really can't... no .... no .... no.....i can't do it, i really can't

Just joking. Yes, I can try, but I didn't know what are you waiting from me.

Well, seriously... I prefer to call it as a compilation, rather than a project but whatever.

There are two ways to keep object data and work with new terrain:
- Using the original map, keep the data, replace the current terrain with new blank map and develop from here
- Work with new map, extract WCE and WCD files once it finishs (using MPQ program) then apply them to the original map.
=> Which one do you prefer? We can try to make one with current version of the compilation. If success, we will soon know which way is the most effective one to work with.

As crazy as it sounds, we want to "mod until it crash", wanna test how a map (WC3 engine) can handle if using many resources at the same time.

P/s: We are not going to do it right now, have to respect other people spare time and passion. Thus i just give some ideas so you can decide

First of all are you going to use .mpq archives? In this case, you can banish all import in one additional file (.mpq) and they will not take up space. Think about it.

Maybe option with replacing of WCE and WCD files would be more interesting/proffesional/comfortable.

It should be some thematic of the map, or just quite detailed with doodads and so on?
Do I have a deadline? Becouse you know, it's all about my mood and inspiration.
I quite often use doodads height changing (lift up/down). Would it properly apply on a your map on replacing?
Unregret
Unregret
No, my friend. There is no deadline among all of us (that's how we work, smart rather than hard). We used to work like playing turn-based strategy, except single tasks which vary on creative and motivation.

I'm sure all mood can fit to the map even non-related map theme (Starcraft map theme with lumber replaced by crystals, gold replaced by Vespene Gas.... Egyptian theme.... Gothic theme... Hell theme... Heaven? .....or maybe Christmas, Haloween map decorations... we can't count)

=> Conclusion: Mod until it crash and until no one demand for more

And you can work as you see fit, because this is your specific role as Terrain Designer if you do (beside Merger, Trigger Programer, Campaign Designer...)

Ok Dear. I will try later. For how many players is a map desirable?
I need to contact a few members for Permissions on their maps also.
Unregret
Unregret
Well, from 2 to 10 players depends on map size and your selection.
