I've fixed that problem; I've come up with a different approach which is better and more obvious: A unit will be only teleported if they right-click (smart) or move to a portal. Previously, I was checking for a lot of orders, which is not efficient.
Now, any other order/spell that affects structures (portals, precisely), won't interfere between a unit and portal at all.
