I'm not understanding your point, what do I have to do specifically? Do I have to make a "Real value" event like most DDS uses ?

No not the "Real value" event. You just store the periodic timeout into a real variable and use the "Add New Event" function to add the periodic event.

Something like: Map initilizaiton -> Set "real" = 0.33. New action-> add event to trigger "every real seconds" ?
