Some points are right, some are wrong. I'll point them out.

We have grenade attacks of immigrants occasionally. The attacks has been steadily increasing, based primarily on the amount of people we've taken in. Granted, I live in a safe neighborhood, way outside these areas, so I'm not exposed to it directly.

The reason that it has not been phrased as an official terrorist attack is because it's technically not terrorists, it's immigrants. It hasn't been an increase in gun violence. But an increase in beatings, knife atacks and grenade attacks. It's far easier to create grenades and buy knives than guns. As for beatings, you just need a larger crowd than the one you are attacking.

Also, any attempt to report this has been silenced or censored and the ones responsible generally get fired. An old swedish cop explained how a regular day to day workday was, but he didn't care as he was about to get retired. He got a lot of negative comments from revealing that. There's numerous other examples that has shown this habit. At one point, they had contacted an english site and asked them to block access to certain articles for people from Sweden. I tried myself and managed to access it using a proxy. It was indeed true.

As for rape, even among rape statisitic, there's a general agreement that it has increased by roughly 600%. Definition of rape hasn't changed much in sweden, it's not like in the US when you can be accused of sight-rape, whatever that is.

As for the no-go zones. They don't really exist. The no-go zone article highlighted places with an larger increase of crime, but not a place where crime has taken over. However, there's more criminals than police and while people can be grabbed, processed and exiled, they'll do everything they can.

The effect of immigration is not that Sweden is on the verge of collapse, far from it. We're still fairly wealthy, the problem is the housing crisis that we had prior to taking in a hundred sixty thousand more people. That's not to say that immigration doesn't have negative economical effects, however.

As for religions, Sweden is a melting pot of religions, there has been some stupid shit down in the past in the name of tolerance, but that's about it. Muslims that actually sit down and read their religious text, tend to stop being muslims. Those that hold on to their religion tends to be people who hold on to it like a cultural heritage, as they feel that they don't belong in the swedish culture for whatever reason.

One thing to take note of is that a lot of jewish families has been targeted by the muslims and some have fled Sweden, as they felt unsafe due to the recent flood of people. For some reason, jews tend to be their primary target. An old concentration camp survivor said in an interview that the looks she got reminded her of the pre-world 2 war times during a visit to a school with a majority of muslims kids, to talk about her experiences during the war.

I understand why that article was made however, there's one group of extremists that they are trying to calm down and another group on our end that is rising up. Naturally, they need to try and calm the populace. I don't want to live in either extreme. I don't want to live in a neo-nazi sweden, nor do I want to live in a sharia law sweden.

There has been an increase in vigilante gangs for example, who goes out to bash in the faces of anyone that looks foreign, this is not a good strategy.

So my choice is to vote for SD in 2018 and hope for the best.

Anyhow, apologies for the minor rant.

NP, it's always interesting to read the opinion of someone who is not working in a certain political party or media. That's exactly why I wrote you in the first place:)

Do you have a link to that ex-cop confession article?

I didn't remember the original article I read it from, but I googled and found a site that mentioned it as well as another article from another policeman who had experienced the same thing. However, these articles are in swedish, so I'd assume you'd need to run it through google translator or something similar. (Google tries to translate the cops name though, from Peter Springare to Peter Knight)

There is american newspapers that has covered this as well, but they tend to get facts wrong or simply phrase things in awkward ways. Anyhow, two links below.

Supposedly, the cop spoke about it on facebook first and then newspapers jumped at the occasion to spread the news. I think you'll be fine with what I linked. :D

Very funny how the nationalistic tendencies in Russia have passed after a peak in 2010 (here are some fancy photos from back then: http://varlamov.ru/330396.html). We still have some problems connected to lack of mutual understanding between ethnic groups (internal migration) but ever since government officials recruited all the radical right-wing group leaders to suppress their former comrades everything is relatively calm.
