Yeah, mining is pretty tiresome to max. :3 After 80 it gets a bit more "relaxing" because of the living rock caverns where you can just AFK it on gold minerals, but before that it's hellish. I remember for example that I got from 80 to 82 faster than I got from 76 to 77. (Before 77 I used to powermine iron.)

And yes, it's the ever-glorious armadyl armour. ;) Right now it costs the same as bandos and robes of subjugation combined, which is imo a bit wrong towards ranged users, but it's probably so because of less people farming for Kreerra than Graardor and Kril + the look is just awesome. :D

The amulet is a 3-leaf-clover necklace. It's a SoF promotion item, albeit 4+ months old already. It used to give 2% bonus to XP gain, but I only wear it for cosmetic purpose though (XP charge has long since expired), in combat I use a fury.
Uh, even though the value of dlegs and skirt haven't really been that great (resting at about 180k right now), it doesn't change the fact that they are still rare drops. Add there an effigy, the odds of getting them all on a single trip is close to impossible. ;p (Although I know some guy who got 5 visages on a single trip...)

Because nowadays with graves that last up to 15mins and the fact that you can get to almost everywhere in less than 2mins (with the exception of GWD boss rooms because of the killcount and such, but there really ain't many places), it sounds almost unbelievable that you couldn't make it back. But what was your grave duration?

As for a bad memory of mine... Hmmh... Stuff happens to me too every now and then, but my problem is that I tend to forget that stuff pretty fast. Should my memory remind me of something "deeper", I'll just settle with something basic that probably happens to all of us eventually: I once died in the Wilderness with gear worth about 5m in total.

Oh and about the glory/fury thing again, yeah, you're right, I feel that myself too when I wear a glory, but honestly, I don't think it's worth it to buy a fury since it provides close to nothing more. And it has no teleports imbued to it either. ;p
Oh wow, you've had some very generous fortune. :D Although you did lose all your chaos runes, I'd have done the same in your boots. That's just... 30M profit on a single sellout... I'm yet to experience such. :) (Maybe if I sold my SGS, lol... But nope, gonna hang on to that.)

Also, the pair of ranger boots, I don't know when exactly you got them (just don't say when they were 30M too, lol), but as of today they're still 6.6M and have been a lot more in the past, so... That definitely beats my luckiest clue scroll drop, which have been 2 zammy platebodies (at approx value of 1.5M each). And those have been from level 3 clues, so it makes them even more inferior. :D

Most of my "big earnings" have been by first buying some mid-to-high level stuff (sara sword, zammy spear, dragon axe+pick) when they've been at an all-time low and then waiting for them to raise close to an all-time high and selling them back. Highest profit at one time has been buying a dragon pick for ~2m and selling it for ~9m.

Other than that, my money just piles up from skilling/regular monster drops over time, with the exception of some rare wand drop that I once had, which I sold for 7.8M. Again, that was an all-time high to my luck. ;p (Nowadays its price has dropped steadily to 1m.)

Fury ammy is still somewhat useful, but not as useful as before EoC. It grants 0.4% higher critical hit chance as well as +1 more prayer bonus compared to glory, so really, it is one of those gear items you might consider acquiring the last. (Along with steads etc.)
:D True, I don't do combat as much as you have, but actually two bigger reasons as to why I bought it this late (almost 2 years from starting this acc) are: 1) I focused on buying the final weaponry first (sgs, abs and rcb) and 2) I always wait for the prices to go down dramatically before buying something very expensive.

Some months ago I could've already bought full bandos, but at that time the full set price was about 32M, while a few days back it had crashed to 16M for the full set. (Not that the armour was nerfed or anything, it just happens that now that schools have started on most countries again, fewer people are playing and thus there are more sellers than buyers.)

But of course, a combat-focused person is very likely to earn the investment to weapons/armour back faster than a 75-25 skiller-fighter like me, so... :)

Edit: And yeh, sorry about a long response, but I couldn't hold myself... ;p
Cam on ban da tham gia VMC Spell Contest #1. Chung toi se tien hanh cham va cong bo ket qua som nhat khi co the.
It kinda sounds like to me you're or would like to play on the OSRS servers? Or then it's simply gut feeling.
    I'd still choose EoC.

While playing from 2005 all the way until today has been fun all the time along the way, I wouldn't want to repeat something I've already done in the past, let alone lose content (one of them being Nomad's Requiem, which doesn't exist in old-school).

And if it comes down to the combat itself, EoC is the way to go for PvE and OSRS for PvP; before EoC, I did do quite a lot of Soul Wars'ing, but at the end of the day I've always been more directed towards PvE. The old combat had its plusses, like that combat stats mattered much more, but that's not enough to convince me to go back. :/

Btw, just curious, why did you ask about the OSRS specifically? :D
Nope, I did try it when it got released (people who voted for it got the 1st month free), but it was so painful to relive that fixed screen and all, that I couldn't take it and returned back to EoC RS.
    ----------
Congratz on your total!!! But i must admit that I dont understand this interface at all
Oh and what's the "Divination" ?
    ----------
Well, Runescape 3 aka huge graphics update happened about a month ago, in which the interfaces became completely customizable by players themselves. So now, you can arrange the windows for example to various corners of the screen or however you like. :)

Naturally though, it received lots of hateposts because the old interfaces aren't available anymore, along with the upper and lower tabs on the bottom-right corner of the screen. It kinda forced people to adapt to new interfaces in a similar way we were forced to adapt to EoC, but if taken time to arrange everything up, it's alright and in some ways better than the old.

As for divination, it's a new gathering skill that came out less than a week ago. :) You gather memories and energies from wisps all across the world and you can make new pocket-slot items from it, such as tablets that heal you automatically when you go below 50% HP and similar, event-conditioned effects.
Well that's pretty good actually, 2100+ total is like 80k-90k on hiscores. I'm 2150 with only 1 99, and that being smithing (albeit herblore and firemaking are pretty close). I'd love to have 90+ combat stats though (my best combat stat is 89 magic :p). So, what are your 99s?

And yeh, I too love to solo my way through daemonheim. :D I'm not exactly sure how big of a portion of the playerbase it is, but my guess is that most people do large 5-people floors, but I've trained dungeoneering to 82 all the way via solo (and intend to max it with pure solo till the end).
Ah, I see. I remember that time when it was released, too. It was very obvious that they were going to add buyable spins too. :/

I'm still playing it, and will for as long as it takes to get max/untrimmed completionist cape (I doubt I'll go for trimmed because of the castle wars games etc.), no matter Jagex throws at me along the way. I started RS on 2005 and my goal has always been to finish that game. :)

Still, it'd be nice if all my friends hadn't left... And if some new ones stayed. But I can't ask anyone to tolerate something like that.

If you don't mind though, I'd be curious to know how far you got, or if you even got completionist cape. ;)
