Well, cinematic doesnt take even a MB space... but it depends if you want or not.

No not really, just make in the intro: Black Screen then make a narrator talk about the story. If you want a trigger I can make one... an example of that... =)

What part of the trigger?
And how do you want it? vJASS or GUI?

I suggest making some twist in Gameplay like even as a Survival game it has a storyline like: "Some adventurers/explorers were lost on a nearby Mansion, full of mysteries." like that. Maybe add that on the intro cinematic. Whichever story you like fits the game!
