    Oh, that's pretty simple.
The icon you gave DC to is pretty decent, but it's average at best. There's hundreds of icons like that which received 4\5 or 5\5 in the past. DCs in the icon section were ALWAYS rare as all hell. There was a set standard with icons like this and this. If you just start handing out DCs to anyone making any sort of decent icon, the DC award will lose it's value.

NFWar's icons were always deemed to be extremely high-quality. I'm pretty sure the only reason he never got a DC is because he seems to be bent on making "simple" objects, as opposed to "mighty godly artifacts of immense power". That is to say; He doesn't add a bunch of glow to every icon. But his shadowing, highlighting, detailing and etc are beyond amazing. I just don't understand why would a random 3-day guy get a DC award, and NFWar doesn't get one.
Hey, have you read Nanny Ogg's Cookbook?

It's pretty cool if you know all the characters.
    :D yea...

I really like the talks with Death when someone dies. Igors are interesting too... well, actually everything is awesome :)
Harry Potter was well-written too. I liked the books. 1, 2 and 3 were a bit boring but... the ones after them... were, very good. 5 for example was the best... Creature's story was the best part from the book. The movies suck though...
Oh yes the books with the witches are awesome... I like the ones with Vimes and Death. Death is the best :D

Monster Command was good, Small Gods is awesome, totally changed my view about religion :), Guards Guards was one of the first I read, Sisters in the Business (if that's how it should be translated in English) was the best from all the witches' books... I really liked that part where Gita starts shouting "He's the murderer!", when they were at the theater, I laughed so hard :D... no, I gotta say, everything is so... well-written in these books, every part is soo... awesome.

Well, there are many other good authors like Robert Sheckley, Untouched by Human hands is... well, awesome. It consists of short stories... Sheckley writes... very short stories, you gotta read that book sometime.

About Prattchet, I've always wanted to read Where's my cow? but I can't find it... have you read it?
    Reputation (+1):
(Bundle) For the BTNBowSkill... it's so... Heroes III stylish, I love it... I can't remember how much rep I gave you for it, but you deserve more :D
You read Prattchet?! He's the best. I learned a lot from him... books give a lot of knowledge, they're like Experience Tomes, don't you think?
Oh, don't worry, there's no need to hurry, we ain't done yet either, we still need a few weeks to complete it :) I just wanted to give you a reminder, because I was pretty sure you forgot about it :)
Still waiting for that improved version of the Razor Hand icon, would come in handy now that... uhm, let's say that we're quite close to a big milestone. :)
Uh, well, it wasn't planned to create that many avatars. It's quite some work to draw all of them. :V
    Oh? Sounds very intriguing. :D

Well, the whole effect is strongly based on the harsh contrast he mentioned. If he coloured/detailed the actual meteor, he would lose the overall effect of perspective.
In my opinion, it's perfectly fine the way it is, but he should zoom in more, to give the meteor a proper size.

And I am looking forward to that finished skin!
I don't really want to get into Skin creation, as I'd have to work with wraps and test them multiple times. A bit too tiresome for my taste. :V
Yeah, I just happen to find myself reading through most of the threads that are important in my eyes.
It's evolution. I see these sort of things as a possibility for everyone to gain knowledge from experience. Whether it's "bad" or "good" doesn't matter in my eye, both help you evolve.
You know Apheraz, so you can write that("the icon offers really nothing in quality") to the others, must - first of all - be yourself an example.
(Try to be less hostile in your replies, if you don't want to be answered in the same way.)
