Been making them from scratch in MdlVis
The model started as Ujimasa Hojo's zombie, so I wouldn't have to splice the portrait or deal with excess bones
I've been trying to figure out how Blender works to make modeling easier, but-- it's like Photoshop to a Gimp user, I can't wrap my head around it x_x
The texture was extracted from the RE2 Model Viewer and, like the WotR skins, edited and repainted to fit in with Warcraft 3's smooth/cartoony look
Aye, I try not to break any rules, there was actually a big fuss involving the WotR models/textures a while back.
Long story short, some of the admins weren't sure if my model adaptations were legal, so they wanted me to take 'em down or leave.
Language barriers and different timezones made sorting it out take a while, but int he end the rules involving model adaptation were expanded upon and I didn't have to migrate to Warcraft Underground
I uploaded this video to show off the animations, at that time the mesh was using the original RE2 skin which was extracted using a program I left a link to in the comments section
something hard to do but perhaps necessary if you want to make it look more real is defensive wounds -- like bites on the arms or neck, maybe some missing fingers too lol.
