getting Patch 1.31 is probably really hard now, in general I do not know how to *get* old patches, but I have them. I have been using the game more or less consistently since 1.22 and have various backups of all the versions that I made on accident. When Reforged deleted my 1.31 installation, I had a second copy of it by chance for a mod I was toying with. My backups grew on their own, sort of naturally.
So I still have old versions and I use them but I don't know how to get them
More recently with Reforged, I have added to my collection of installations: Patch 1.00 executables with a possibly modded 2004 mpq that I used to restore a scratched disk that runs a pretty RoC install with the old editor, Patch 1.14/1.07 in the new numbering from a Frozen Throne disk set, and an official redownload of Patch 1.27 from after Reforged released while that official 1.27 downloader from Blizzard was still available.
Around the time of patch 1.28 I bought some extra cd keys for myself. Reforged purchases dont include a CD key and cant be used to play versions earlier than the 1.30ish era. They might work on 1.29 but im forgetting, and i doubt it
@Retera What do you mean Reforged doesn't come with a CD-Key? How are you then supposed to install/play the game if you don't have the CDs or RoC+TfT keys?
