Lich King vs Sauron?

I feel like.... saurons.... scaryier some how...and more.... famous.... and more old.... there for he wins in my book.

I like Arthas waaaay more than Sauron, but the later is simply much stronger afaik.

I just stumbled upon this image while looking for Sauron models for my map. I like to give my opinion on this if I can, even though it was posted back in 2019. I am a major Tolkien fan, I always thought Arthas as the Lich King was the Sauron of Azeroth. That being said, Sauron being Thousands if not Hundreds of Thousands of years old already beats Arthas by the Age. Sauron was a lieutenant of Melkor a.k.a Morgoth during the First age if I remember correctly. 2nd reason I think Sauron would win in a 1v1 against Arthas is the One Ring. Even if Arthas were to destroy Sauron's physical form if the Ring was not destroyed in Mount Doom than Sauron would just hide and regain is strength for round 2. If Arthas were to take the Ring, we know the Ring has a will of its own, the Ring being a part of Sauron in a way may be strong enough to take control of Arthas with or without his knowledge.


In my honest opinion Sauron would win regardless of the situation
