the waterfall below doesn't seem right... the low elevation + the fact that the above water doesn't flow doesn't give a logical reason to the strength of the waterfall...

"the fact that the above water doesn't flow"
What do you mean? How could I make it flow?
Would making the said waterfall smaller fix it?

Looks better than the first one but some suggestions: remove the trees at the rocky areas for they don't fit much, trees don't usually grow at rock tiles, agreed with Adiktuz... the waterfall has low elevation. It is much better if you will make it have higher elevation, and as for my own suggestions, don't concentrate on decorating the rocky areas and making a perfect watefall, you should decorate also the sorrounding areas, it looks empty and needs some shape up.

Well this looks definitely better than the previous one. I really like how you made the rock formation. And yes, I agree with the waterfall thing. The trees however look fine from this angle. I have no idea how it looks like in other angles though.

river bed should not be grass. Some small rocks in the stream would be nice. The water is a bit too blue. Alpha tiles are always a nice touch. It looks great though, I really like it!

you could probably make it a bit higher... if you could remove that "splash" from the waterfall model, then it will look normal I believe because I think that's the main problem here, a waterfall with that small height difference + the river above that doesn't flow fast won't be having visible splashes

btw, this is the waterfall in the lowest part of your map

Or you can make the river flow... I think there's a tutorial here on how to make flowing rivers using the waterfall doodad, but the idea is that you simply populate the river with waterfall doodads (lower it so only the top part is visible) so that it looks like it's flowing
