An explanation to how Space folding works

I realize I have put "time" in the picture's description instead of space... I am sorry for this mistake, although it may be possible as well. :/

thanks! ^^ And people say my watching a lot of Sci-fi doesn't let me experiance life... XD In truth, I am able to comprehend more than most people in my area. ^^ Cause I understand the technology, the science real quickly, and can even explain it ^^

And, it actually does relate to real life things. =3 As shown above XD

i've seen that in some movie >=3 takes a laser creates a rift and travels in it, thus folding the space around.
and i loved that effect 8)

dune oO you mean movie Dune?
that was a heck lot different travel than what i saw from somewhere
but still coom

btw Dune is my favourite movie ^_^

Stargate SG-1 had it as Space Bending when the Yollans tried explaining it to Captain Carter. Carter mentioned folding and the Tollan used a stick and bent it to show the distance decreased. lol Bending is very similiar to folding.

er... except this is taking a linear plane, and crushing it together to shorten the travel distance of the ship...
