Beautiful, any plans to make the vanilla races too, but standalone? (stormwind humans, orgrimmar orcs, darkspear trolls, Kalimdor nelves, keepers/ancients/cenarion circle?

Uhmmmm. I've thought about Stormwind and split up elves/druids. But it feels boring. Stormwind doesnt have all that interesting things going on. Just a base human faction. Kul Tiras had the whole seafaring theme. Scarlet Crusade has the overzealous religious angle.
Solo Night Elves could be somewhat interesting, they wouldn't have Ancients and would need to rely on their own strengths, but theyd clash with the vanilla race a lot. But I feel like there's many other factions that are more interesting.

Can you specify the team colors of all the 22 factions in your altered melee map (when I playing your factions, I prefer to use the team colors of the respective race.) ? Additionally, Dark Horde heroes are not shown in the image.

Well the team color is subjective to what one thinks is best for the faction. Additionally, oops. It took a lot longer than I thought it would to place it all.

I think there was a similar discussion on your profile page. There are only so many ways one can split up the factions in Warcraft lore for custom races before the overlap is excessive, especially in the humans' case. It's part of the reason I started primarily working on my own races with "custom lore" rather than lore-based ones.
In the spirit of generating inspiration, here is a Faction Design doc for a Lordaeron faction. I had created it as a brainstorming session after the last discussion. I don't plan to actually create the faction at the moment. So feel free to go ham.

if you want to play with stormwind just use the building and unit models made by Bakr and replace with vanilla humans i did that and they fit perfectly

What if, the Alliance (contains Human basic primary units, Dwarf siege units, Night Elf & Draenei spellcaster units, Worgen elite units) and the Horde (contains Orcish basic primary units, Goblin siege units, Troll & Blood Elven spellcaster units, Forsaken elite units) altered melee factions are going to made ? The factions could have +20 unit-types just like in the old Illidari faction.

But why would you want that? +20 plus units in a single faction is incredibly overwhelming. I prefer to split factions into their faction rather than combine them. Illidari is the outlier, it has its own reason for all the races combining and having a lot of unit types.
Also, I wanted to ask if 1.59 runs any smoother? There were a lot of under-the-hood changes made to the code. A lot a lot.
Glad you're getting inspiration. Access denied on the doc.

I thought it might be appropriate to reinterpret custom and vanilla races together as Alliance (containing Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, Draenei, and Worgen subfactions) and Horde (containing Orc, Forsaken, Troll, Tauren, and Blood Elf subfactions) factions. For example, in the Human subfaction within the Alliance, instead of Knight, a Cavalier unit with different abilities could be added; instead of the Paladin hero representing the Human race, a warrior hero like Varian Wrynn could be added; or in the Orc subfaction, an elite Orc unit like the Tauren could be added; instead of the Far Seer representing the Orc race, a warrior hero like Garrosh Hellscream could be added. These Alliance and Horde factions could be based on the WoW theme rather than Warcraft III, and instead of classic heroes like Paladin, Mountain King, Far Seer, and Blademaster, they could introduce more diverse heroes and units.
I plan to take a closer look at the 1.59 patch when I have the time. Here's what I can say so far: The new High Elf UI is a chef's kiss. Most bugs related to the High Elf faction have been fixed, but some errors still exist, particularly with certain heroes like Grand Magus. For example, the occasional failure of the rain of fire and bone-chilling mist in Frostflame Storm is one such example. Typo corrections have also been largely implemented, but some spelling errors remain. The new mechanics in the Faceless One faction are noteworthy. I previously had a idea in my mind to diversify Drudge units and have each Drudge type create a different Awoken, but I don't know how much this mechanic will interest you. (The mechanic I'm referring to is similar to the Nanocore mechanic in the Imperial faction of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3).
