I'm a new member here, ya just new (I'm not even sure if i'm posting the right thread in the right section) welll since this section is the "World Editor Help Zone" I want to ask some questions


Me a dota player, dowloaded GG client into my computer, but then when I was about to make a map about an item idea(Auto cyclone from tornado) I can't open it(world editor) anymore, how do you you think this happened

PS: It is really hard to feel the pain of not making maps in half a year...pls reply ASAP

Not to sound mean, but is the fact that you play Dota truly relevant?

Several things you can try: un-install GG client (w/e that is), reinstall wc3 or check out the blizzard help site.

In regards to GG Client, most of us are completely unfamiliar with it.

My recommendaton would be to contact
GG.MaRs, ScoOobY, or another member of their fine staff.

Are you trying to open Dota in the world editor? Because it is protected.

as far as i know its some sorta hamachi clone for wc3
meaning it builds a local area network over the internet

Hey! Maybe you must pick either: World Editor or GG Client

Or you must have 2 computer, one for WE and one for GG client

I have GG Client instaled and there is nothing wrong with my world editor.

Then just reinstall both of them.. Why we must think so mess?

Acctualy i think that GG Client has nothing to do with his editor cuz lot of my friends have it and never caused any conflits...
fragilous it would be best to write the error that shows the editor when u try to open it
