Sail between islands and solve some quests. For example you can sail to
The Tropics island, there you start, and then (if there is any quest there)
you can sail to an another island as Alliance camp island.
(oops... I just revealed a quest ^^)

- One island shall be a Shop/Merchant island.

3. Cunningshire Island (the shop island)

It's good question,I think it will be funny for about 30 - 60 minutes...

I like Second Picture :D

Yeah its a good questian because mostly these 'kind' of maps dont have that much gameplay though .. i mean you simply CANT put that many gameplay in them like take for example LOAP , it has no goal and you can roam and acctualy the rest of buying items and such are just extra's ... i dont say i dont have fate in this it could turn out as a rly fun map .. but just that singleplayer maps are hard to make it rly fun (I think Singleplayer-RPG-Campaigns like HeroRPG are the best things to do single).

He can add in replayability. Just add in some random events and allow for multiple endings on quests. (ex: you can help a villager find his lost boat, or you can steal the boat and use it for personal gain)
Then BAM! Replayability because you're curious about what else you can do.
Another important thing: have all quests be part of a "big picture" that leads up to an ending. Dont just make the game end whenever the player gets tired of playing it. Constantly keep something coming at them so they WANT to keep playing.
Some puzzles would be pretty cool too. (or maybe something like pyramid escape)
