Petition to Blizzard

1.27 is out and it is kinda meh... so I know our argumentation is kinda weak because of the Star Editor but maybe we should at least try to send Blizzard a petition all together, draw their attention to this big active community with demands for an improved world editor engine etc.

This is a pretty spontanious idea and I will edit pro and con arguments later, maybe you are with me, so just give me already your arguments and lets see what we can conclude.

There's no need for this as we're already in contact with Blizzard. Trust me when I say this, that Blizzard is well aware of our community

I remember Blizzard said Patch 1.27a is just the beginning. There's more to come.

The WarCraft movie will most probably get new (non tech-savvy) people interested in WC3. Therefore, Blizzard *had* to first release a patch that solves compatibility issues with modern OSes, for the casual user. Mr Everybody does not want to search the web for obscure tricks, in order to make stuff work.

Since I believe the 1.27a patch and the movie are parts of a global communication strategy by Blizzard, I understand you would have to wait for Blizzard to make an official statement first, before posting your information, Kam.

I am very curious to see how Blizzard's future decisions will impact the Hive's modding projects.
