True, it seemed to me that the original was thinner, longer and, maybe bit more... stooping(?), but it's still great

I had to bulk him up a bit to fit in with other Warcraft models

I have a "Grunt/Footman" test where I take my model and I put it between the two models.
-If it fits in, it passes.
-If it sticks out, it gets reworked. :C

Well, I think I agree with your method: it’s really better.
