I find making a black layer above the icon and setting it to 50% opacity looks good.
The icon itself though looks like red-frost and blue-frost, which is kind of odd.

This looks like the Breath of Frost icon cropped, duplicated, flipped, and recoloured.

the DISBTN is wrongly bordered and the icon would look quite better with a little smoothing right on the middle.
