you might have a corrupted dll file which need to be replaced, i once had a problem like this and there is a fix. see if wmp is working, if its not then it seems to be the same thing.

I've had that problem before! I couldn't find any way to fix it.
Doing a clean install got it working right mind you, but I don't think you wanna do all that just for Youtube. The only reason I did was because I got my new PC os I had to reformat anyway.

The Hive Workshop's vBulletin [youtube][/youtube] tags were also also bugged for a few days.
Ralle got them repaired and the newer videos should now display properly (they do in my browsers anyway).
