I'm a huge fan of Blizzard's Warchasers custom map, one of the things that I loved about it was the mismash of character abilities however there's two sides to that coin...
The part that ticked me off the most was Caster's, their abilities couldn't scale like an attack damage character would (attack speed and damage.), with some trigger knowledge and some arbitrary damage numbers I was able to do so.
For example one of the characters I have is the Necromancer:
Now my question is what would you want to see in a Warchasers map? What do you not want to see?
I'm fishing for ideas as simply adding attribute ratio's to existing characters is absolutely no fun.
Bonus points for neat Ideas

For example one of the characters I have is the Necromancer:
- Innate - makes his next Auto deal spell damage and restore mana over time, if this attack kills a target it will raise a skeleton.
- Ability 1 - Targets dead in an area creating homing explosive missiles that will follow the caster if no targets are available
- Ability 2 - D2 bone armor, but can be put on allies.
- Ability 3 - D2 Teeth ( Fan of projectiles, good in close range )
- Ult - Aoe Channel, deals minor damage through the channel, every second increases the Aoe damage if the caster stops.
