In my opinion it looks a bit too blurry and smudged.

It sure ain't smudged, but blurry (the icon size one), yes. It's somehow a bit too much detail in too little space. I suggest you zoom in more on the guard (and quillions) as that's where the most details are, and try to refine those. In it's current state, this would not be approved.

In my opinion you need borders (Use a thin line at the borders of the sword)

Also a background would make it make her look better (If you get a background you can make the border black)

The Green glow must be wider than the blade itself, since that is actually what it looks like in Cabal
