The line of kings who have ruled the land of Glacialis has been broken; murdered in a military revolution led by the traitor Grand Marshall Caius. After taking power Caius proclaimed himself Emperor of all the land and demanded the surrounding villages to swear an oath to him. They refused and were oblierated. Trust has been lost and alliances are obsolete. Now as the smoke rises over the frozen coasts of Glacialis the survivors march to war prepared to defeat all who remain in this land. They can only hope they will be Wiser In Battle.

Gameplay
Overview
The game will consist of four teams and eight possible players, only four are required to play. Players will compete to destroy all opposing team bases while defending their own. Control points on the map will allow the construction of various obelisks that can provide support.

Control Points
Players will be able to build supportive obelisks in a limited amount of areas on the map. They will be able to choose from Offensive (Attack Bonus), Defensive (Armor Bonus), and Wealth (Gold Income).

Combat
All factions will have the choice from five of the same units plus an additional special unit. This will result in a rock, paper, scissors type combat with a well balanced army having the upper hand. Food limitation will be low. Training new units from your only barracks takes longer then usual. Gold income for units comes from obelisks. Units will suffer from the cold and will have drained mana when not near the base fire. If the mana reaches zero they will rapidly begin to lose health points and die.

Base
The base will consist of one barracks, the fire, and a hero revive alter.

Weekly Update 6/1/09
The map terrain has made some major leaps in the past three weeks and is expected to be finished by Friday of this week. The process of adding triggers has begun.

Some of the features will include
-Camera with normal or raised height.
-Periodic events
-Countdown timer
-Unit Freezing/Campfire
-Control Point/Obelisks

I am still debating whether or not to use custom models for the military units that are available on this site. Expect new screenshots by Wednesday. Enjoy the summer!

I misjudged the map size and can only fit four players in a small area. The terrain was decent but it felt to cramped to continue. I will be attempting to expand it so at least six-eight players can fit onto a single map. I will probably add a smaller island just south of the mainland to fix this. But it will require a new map so bare with me.
