http://www.wc3sear.ch/?p=Maps&ID=3638

my map is there check it out...
you can play it one player for purposes of testing considering it is still beta.

here are some commands red can use...
(type in exactly as shown)
-betaon ,turns on beta mode allows the rest of the commands to work
-givegold ,gives red 5000 gold
those are all that you should need, thanks in advance[/b]

How are they clogging? Do you have an oversized unit blocking the choke point? Are the units not moving after spawning? Are the units returning to their spawn point after moving a short distance? Is your spawn rate too fast so where units are being created faster then they are dying? Each one of those requires a different fix. Please specify.

ok umm its hard to explain but the easiest way to explain it is that when you start to make alot a units (helpers) they start to move in a straight line and they keeping bumping into each others backs and slowly they make their way down the line.

although it hardly happens it is an inconvience when you decide to send alot of helpers they start to get in each others way.

i described the method in which you can check what im talking about in a matter of 30 seconds starting the map.

so if you dont understand what im saying then you could check out the method above. and just see what im talking about thanks for your time.

if ur trying to give say move orders to many many units at once to my knowledge warcraft 3 just can't handle that and will move units a little bit, stop them, move them a bit more, stop, etc...

i dunno if this is what ur talking about, but i dunno if u can do much about it if it is

Raptor, you had it right. This only happens when an AI player is used for too many units. If the units belong to an AI that is activly using a slot, they ca only order up to 12 units at a time. If overflowed with hundreds of units, only so many can be ordered simutaniously while the rest are simple waiting for the AI to move them because so many other things are calculated.

Solution for this: Dont use an AI player. Have the units spawn for a player (doesnt have to be human) that doest not occupy a player slot.
