blizzard have removed the button so i need to create it again but i dont know the name of the icon file. i want all regular units in my map.

where do i find the upgrade icon for the protoss scout speed

Why are your questions always so badly stated for all sorts of problems? If by scout you mean Observer:
Assets\Textures\btn-upgrade-protoss-graviticbooster.dds
or the other speed upgrade that was inded removed in one of the patches is Void Ray's Flux Vanes.

the upgrade was in starcraft 2 earlier but while the upgrade still exists its button have been removed so i have to create its button from scratch. the scout exists in starcraft 2 and works perfectly but i want to get its speed upgrade working. that requires a button but i dont know where its icon is. i can create the button but i dont know what its icon is named. please tell me.

Many upgrades do not have the nescescary icons anymore. This was because they performed a radical redesign of all game icons from mono-chrome to colour late during the beta and must not have remade all the icons.

i believe that the upgrade might have had its button after the game was released but then it was removed. the icon should still be there but i dont know what the file is named.

^ I was thinking you mean smth was in SC1 and is supposed to be in SC2 judging by how you ask questions. Well, if it was in SC2, that's strange cause where did you see it? I dont remember the campaign having scout with that upgrade.
Still, some icons are there. Like the majority of colorless icons that the game started with are still there, adding only the new colored ones.
Now I see the Scout uses upgrade Gravitic Thrusters. What if it's been some other icon anyway? There seems to be no such icon. There is beta MPQ but there was no campaign in beta, these SC2Archive files could be containing smth that are in Versions\ folder but Im not sure.
