When I tried to download something, a window appeared and I can read, that the site is infected. (It contains malevolent adwares maybe?)

Now that twif is gone, hive relies on bitcoin mining botnet to get its income.

You might experience a little slowdown in your computer performance, but at least you keep hive kickin'

If it means, that the PC infected with viruses, then things are not okay.

However: I can save the files by using Firefox/Explorer.

jondrean is joking. The only reason for this message is a tool called JNGP which is an extension of World Editor. It latches itself onto the process to add more features which anti viruses find suspect. I have interacted with Google about this multiple times and they say they will remove the warning.
