I'm pretty lazy right now and didn't want to check by myself, but:

If I import a model and its skins, considering that some will "overwrite a default texture", will this also change other models' appearance???:eekani:

This belongs in the World Editor Help Zone. No, models do not overwrite anything. They are custom. Skins overwrite a current existing internal model such as a "footman". It will not change any other models unless they use that texture. Such as if you edited the cityscape doodad skins, some cityscape model that uses those textures will change as well. (I think)

Yeah, that's correct, also you should post this at World Editor Help Zone OR Texturing and Surfacing section.
