Hello,
I am prospectively looking to source some weapon attachments from Hive modellers from my ongoing project, Orc Gladiators. For those who don't know, Orc Glads is a team based hero survival and has maintained modest popularity on Battle.net for around 3 years now. It's something I continue to develop in my free time, especially when I get a creative itch.
In the latest update, I revamped a feature of the map called "weapon upgrades", where a player can swap their original weapon for another (from a choice of 3) with exciting ability bonuses on. A big part of making this feel epic is updating the model of the weapon to something exciting.
The Hive has a great range of weapon attachments, but I have found in some situations there's not really anything good for the weapon I am looking for.
For example, one playable character in the game uses a potion as a weapon. There's quite a few potions on hive, but none that can be used as weapon attachment without some kind of modification.
If there is sufficient interest, I will post the full range of attachments I am after, as well as the model they will be attached to. In these cases I am looking for a model to be created that matches a weapon that has already been conceived. BUT if you happen to have any amazing attachments sitting around I may be able to redesign the lore and icon of a weapon upgrade to fit it.
For any high skilled modellers, the map does generate some revenue, as such I am prepared to pay (via PayPal). But anything that's commissioned must be of high quality and must meet my expectations. Entries that are otherwise fulfilled by goodwill/for free/practice etc. will be treated as a normal Hive Workshop model, i.e. added to the credits and existing within a map that's actually played.
