this and other custom models on your site baffle me,

i know how to import it into world editor and use it to make a bridge that works
(well almost)

but wat i dont get is how to raise it so that units cant cross, and where the animations and such that would go with this bridge are, as well as sound, if there is sound for it

im having this problem with all of your models such as
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...ine-final-48063/?prev=c=13&r=20&d=list&page=4

when i import it he has no gun... and where would his sound set, weapon, attack animations, ect... be located??? and which things do i have to come up with on my own? did the uploader not include the best unit speed, collision size, AOEs, ect... to use with his unit? abilities, items, ect aswell?

any help would be apreciated, thx

EDIT:so i found where the models animations are under more info, but the question still stands, when u guys spend 8 hours a day for a week making a kick ass tank, do u not create a sound set for it? or write down the best unit/attack/build speeds for it?

and if there is an article on your site describing this can u point me to it?

then i think he post it in the wrong place ?

i think i must have, i just clicked that link that says "cant get this model working click here" then followed it to this section,

ow and im not trying to create the animations, i was looking for the animations that u guys created for ure models, and i found them under the More Info tab sooooo, i found it nvr mind heh XD

wasnt trying to say anything just looking for the list of animations, i just figured the rest would be with it.

No, you have to set them to yourself and not be lazy. You just have to test a lot and see what's best for it, I mean seriously. You can make it a Tank and you can make it a Pretty Pink Unicorn, it's not about the model you use.

Also, the Advanced Marine is made to work with attachments. Read some tutorials, seriously dude.

where does it say "the Advanced Marine is made to work with attachments." and how would i kno?

and dam man dont get so but hurt over a simple post, i didnt even know u could download player created weapons for models when i posted this, seeems to me the wc3 moding cummunity is made up of sum real dicks, people come on here and other formus asking simple questions and get chewed out for not being respectful of how much of ure lives u wasted making these models and omg if u told me the best unit speed and collision size to use with the unit so i dont spend 3 hours tweaking it.

and cheers to those of u that are decent peepz

I'm sorry if I offended you, but now you're just outright flaming me.

Either way, the Advanced Marine by Konstruct is an old model ported from WC3Sear.ch when it died. Those models usually lack something of their description.

And you should know 'cause the model has no weapon. It's kinda obvious.

As for the collisions and all of that. Modelling is a hard job and some models take YEARS to create(example: the Lindormr Dragon by Olofmoleman). Not anyone can be arsed to test their model and check the best possible object editor fields. And besides, you mentioned attack speed\damage\stats? Because those should OBVIOUSLY be set by the map-maker, otherwise it would make no sense and will be extremely unbalanced.
