Alright so this is my post for my upcoming map,
Modern Living Unleashed.

So far I have already developed some intresting ideas and, tried at least to keep it all balanced and fun. The big question right now for me is, how am I gonna keep the lag off of my game? Because I might be shooting for amazing map but those take power and we don't all have that.

Here is what I have so far for my map.

It will be alot like a LoaP map just named a little diffrent.

I put guns in it (of cource I did I'm a FPS lover) but the guns are diffrent in a way that I think many people should like because instead of just getting it and automaticly kinda getting a upgrade, you get to shoot it so its more like a gun.

Also I added buildings so that it looks a little better you can go inside the buildings and outside but it's not just open terrain. Which some may like and others might not.

I'm adding a somewhat unique mode choosing system that will make it so you can (hopefully by the time I'm finished) choose to have food effect you (die from starving), choose to have a Zombie Attack where zombies (DUH) attack or you can just have it so a certain amount of money is the win (like monopoly). Also there is a freeplay mode because who doesn't like that option.

I've also found that (I think this is right?) most people like the jobs to be more like minigames. So I'm making a couple "minigame" jobs.

So anyways here are the jobs I have planned out so far

-JOBS-

Police

Get money for keeping banks money safe, protecting armored cars, having the Criminal in jail, protecting civillians and, protecting historic artifacts in the museum.

Criminal

Earn money by robbing armored cars, robbing the bank, killing civillians, selling illegal weapons and, stealing historic artifacts at the museum.

Special Forces

Earn money by protecting documents, recovering documents, saving hostages, preventing bombings and, ensuring the Presidents safety.

Terrorist

Get money by stealing documents, keeping the documents safe, taking hostages, bombing certain buildings and, murdering the President

Bank

Earn money by sending armored cars for money from the main bank, getting better security, storing player money, getting better security (costs at first then slowly increaces money because people trust your bank) and, giving out loans or not depending on what you want to do (use police or criminal or just players who will be your thugs to inforce this)

Museum Curator

Get paid for displaying artifacts (find them first), tightening museum security (helps keep your artifacts safe which gives you money) and, finding treasure through hints in history and other places (treasure is it's own reward)

President

Earn your living by keeping citizens protected, helping citizens out with their problems (quests), getting a better school system, having rec areas that players visit so listen to requests and, by helping police get better equipment. Make sure you get voted to this job or someone else will take it instead

Fire Rate-Is on a scale from 0-5, 0 being machine gun and 5 being sniper rifle with a one round chamber.

Aim-Ranges from easy to hard, easy meaning it has a far casting rangs and hard meaning it's a short casting range. (this does make it harder as you might click to use the gun near an enemy and then you find your guy walking right up next to them)
