4v4 MOBA for Warcraft III: Reforged

UNTIL DEATH CYCLE is a 4v4 MOBA where the North Team (Beast) and the South Team (Realm) clash to test their skills and ultimately destroy the enemy base.
The map features 20 unique heroes, mixing fully customized abilities with classic Warcraft III mechanics, built around a central and original concept: the Death Cycle.





Map Overview

The battlefield is divided into three main lanes:


  • Dragon Lane (Left)
  • ROT Lane (Mid)
  • Grove Lane (Right)

The Dragon and Grove lanes are living lanes, while the ROT lane represents death and rebirth through the core system of the game.



The Death Cycle (Core System)

This is the heart of UNTIL DEATH CYCLE.


  • Side lanes (Dragon & Grove) periodically spawn living waves:
    • 3 Warriors
    • 2 Shooters
    • 1 Healer
  • Every 3 waves, a Demolisher is sent.

Death → Skeleton → Rebirth​


  • Whenever a unit dies in any side lane, a Skeleton of the same specialization spawns in the ROT lane (Mid).
    • Melee dies → Melee Skeleton
    • Ranged dies → Ranged Skeleton
  • When a hero last-hitsa Skeleton in the ROT lane:
    • The Skeleton is purged
    • It reborns as a Tier 2 unit in both side lanes, keeping its specialization

Example:
A melee unit dies → melee skeleton spawns mid → hero last-hits it → Tier 2 melee units spawn in Dragon and Grove lanes.


This creates a constant loop of death, control, and strategic pressure across all lanes.




Dragons (Objectives – Dragon Lane)​

There are 5 Dragons, spawning one at a time, starting at 5 minutes, in the Dragon Lane pit (left side).
Each dragon grants a team-wide buff when slain.


  • VOLTARYN – Thunder Dragon
    Increases wave movement speed on Dragon and Grove lanes
  • PYROTHRAXUS – Fire Dragon
    Increases damage to towers and Demolishers
  • GLACIARYN – Ice Dragon
    Grants bonus armor to structures
  • TERRAGRUUL – Earth Dragon
    Gives a Thorns Aura to side lane waves
  • NECROKOSMOS – Dead Dragon
    Grants Vampiric Aura to the ROT lane only

Each Dragon respawns 5 minutes after the previous one is killed.




Grove Guardian (Major Objective – Grove Lane)​

  • Spawns at 7 minutes in the Grove Lane pit (right side)
  • A powerful Ent
  • When defeated:
    • Grants 3 special waves to the killing team
    • These waves consist of Tank Ents
    • Spawn in both Dragon and Grove lanes
  • Respawns 5 minutes after being slain



Shops & Economy​

Each base contains 4 core shops:


  • Tavern
    Utility & consumables (Mana Stones, Wards, Town Portals, consumables)
  • War Mill
    Damage and Attack Speed items
  • Tomes Bookshelf
    Tomes of Strength, Agility, or Intelligence
  • Exotic Items Shop
    Rare and expensive late-game items

Additional shops:


  • 2 Goblin Shops between the lanes
  • 2 Exclusive Shops in the corners of the map



Jungle & Creeps​


  • Neutral creeps drop power-up items:
    • Gold
    • Tomes
    • Runes
  • Creeps respawn after a short delay once killed

  • Katterine — Archer
  • Willow — Rogue ( comming soon)
  • Vinnie — Knight
  • Darkko — Mercenary
  • Dario — Geomancer
  • Burning Coal — Pyromancer
  • Wassara — Hydromancer ( comming soon)
  • Hex — Watcher ( comming soon)
  • Magnus — Voodoo Lord
  • Stardust — Witch

North Team (Beast)​

Classes repeat across teams, but each hero masters their discipline in a unique way.
A Geomancer is never the same as another Geomancer.




Hero Abilities & Controls​


  • Every hero has:
    • 1 Active Basic Ability
    • 1 Passive Basic Ability
  • Plus:
    • 3 learnable abilities (up to Level 4)
    • 1 Ultimate ability (up to Level 2)

Hotkeys:
Q W E R D F — as every good MOBA should be.




Secret Interactions (Easter Eggs)​

(Diana's ultimate is blink)

Heroes may trigger special interactions when they:
  • Meet specific heroes
  • Buy certain items
  • Get First Blood
  • Destroy objectives

These are intentionally left as hidden easter eggs for players to discover.

  • Made for Warcraft III: Reforged
  • Uses only default editor resources
  • Exceptions:
    • Cenarius Horn (audio)
    • First Blood sound (from DotA 1)

Thread Relocation
