Unable to open map

I am trying to edit a old popular map called Hero wars mater 2.2 for my host bot.
my first problem is that I cant open it in the warcraft world editor app. It says the file is not supported. So I have no idea how to edit this map. if I can get a editing application to open the map then I plan on figuring out how to make the edits I want. Can anyone give me some advice?

Well that's disappointing because he made a great map besides his last couple retarded ideas. No one wants to play a game that u kill your self countless amount of times on purpose in so the other team makes less gold(money) income. no one wants to play a game when all u have to do is send your gold(money) to a teammate all duration of the game to win.
I was trying to edit God status and pro status income to normal status income, and disable to option to pass gold(money) to teammates.

Does anyone know how I can reach the author of this map? I'm willing to pay a fair amount for these edits
