Triggers gone when creating a new folder

It does repeat. With a backup of the campaign, same thing. I can't even export and import the tirggers. It is exactly as described in that post I linked

It appeared as soon as I loaded my saved custom campaign in the editor after having created a new folder for triggers. I had never created a trigger folder before. My game version is 1.31 classic warcraft, no reforged, in case it matters. Re-installing did not fix the problem.

If you originally made this campaign with 1.31 and experienced no problem prior to creating folder then it must be the patch's bug. I have 1.26 and never encountered this problem. The only thing comes to my mind is that you should try opening your campaign with an older patch and see if the bug repeats there or whether the disappeared triggers reappear.

I started the campaign on 1.31. It might be a bug with the patch the patch, but I want to find a solution without changing versions, because when I open the campaign with an older version of the game, I get an error saying some features might not be present.

Even if it's just 1 patch older? I'd guess 1.30 can open 1.31. I'd recommend trying because it would established whether the patch itself is the problem and if you could get access to your triggers in an older version, you could take them out of the folder and copy them to the new one. Then, if nothing else, you could use folders as comments to separate your triggers, rather than putting them inside the folder. Little more spacey but better than nothing.
